There's a moment in a good sauna where the noise falls away and you come back to yourself. Set around a live wood burner, in the comfort of our specially designed sauna house, we carry this to wherever you happen to be.

Inspired by years spent inside Finland's sauna tradition — but not an imitation of it. This is something of our own: a rustic, English take on an old ritual. Private, therapeutic, quietly euphoric. Sauna as it is meant to be felt.

We bring the whole experience to you, wherever you are.
A dedicated host delivers the sauna, sets it up exactly where and how you'd like it, and tends the fire so you don't have to think about a thing.
Every booking includes all firewood and fuel, full insurance, and a complimentary open-air shower beneath the sky.

ABOUT US
Our story
​
Tim spent years in Finland, deep inside a culture that treats the sauna as a cornerstone of daily life. He came home convinced of one thing: that a real wood-burning sauna offers something no electric room ever can — and that Britain deserved its own version of it.
​
Not a copy of Finland, but a culture of our own: unhurried, rustic, tended by firelight. That's the mission behind The Mobile Sauna — to light the sparks of an English sauna culture, and share it as widely as we can.

Why wood fire?
​
We don't do electric. Our saunas are heated the old way, by a wood burner — a fire that's built, tended, and felt. It's slower, warmer, alive in a way a switch never is. It's also what lets us go anywhere: no power supply needed, just good ground and open sky. Fields, forests, festivals, back gardens, the coast — if you can get to it, so can we.

Growing the right way
​
We've spent years running saunas alongside the spas at some of the UK's best-loved festivals — Glastonbury's VIP fields, Lovefield, WOMAD — and we're growing outward from there. These days that means sauna pop-ups, private hire, and bespoke mobile saunas built to order for 2026.
We also believe this should be shared beyond those who can simply pay for it. Members of our team work closely with charities in Africa and animal welfare causes here in the UK — so if you're behind a good cause, get in touch and let's see what we can do together.
